Advantages and features of the Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching is, as the ICF-International Coaching Federation defines it, “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Executive Coaching is guided towards the results of professional performance inside an organization. However, personal development is also inherent in the process because the two areas are inseparable.

Executive Coaching is guided towards the results of professional performance inside an organization.

In order to start an executive coaching project inside a company or organization, a tripartite contract must be established between the coach, the “sponsor” – the person in charge of the company that hires the service (usually the general administration, HR officer, employee’s direction) – and the employee. The company defines the field of action of the coaching process, that is the skills it wants the employee to develop and that the employee accepts, defines a goal and commits itself to the way to go in order to reach the results in a predefined period of time.

The reasons for the intervention of a professional coach within an organization with company managers can be several, such as the development of skills, leadership, high potential employees, career management, problem solving in professional performance, senior executives’ questions, leaders and managers facing new challenges.

There are also several executive skills that can be developed with the supervision of a professional coach such as improving time management, stress management, leadership ability, people management, project management, delegation of power, performance management, improvement of the quality of communication and improvements in the behavioral area.
Reasons are more than enough to contact a professional and schedule a first meeting.
